Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, requesting Human Nursing Support, using the Nursing Workspace, communicating with support, or uploading academic materials. This may include your name, email address, optional phone number, school or program information, course details, deadlines, assignment instructions, service preferences, AI prompts, project information, and uploaded files.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve the services you request, authenticate accounts, calculate and confirm quotations, process subscriptions and payments, deliver files and messages, maintain project continuity, prevent abuse, troubleshoot service reliability, and keep appropriate business and security records.

Nursing AI and Uploaded Academic Materials

When you use Nursing AI, Grade Helper may send your prompt, selected conversation context, and files you explicitly include in the current request to the configured AI provider so the requested response can be generated. Grade Helper uses compacted conversation context to reduce unnecessary repeated processing and does not automatically resend old attachments on every turn. Temporary AI attachments and project materials follow the retention controls implemented by the Nursing Workspace.

Do not submit patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, addresses, or other identifiable health information. Grade Helper is designed for academic learning and de-identified educational scenarios, not for clinical decision-making or storage of protected health information.

Human Nursing Support

Human Nursing Support requests may include instructions, rubrics, drafts, feedback, articles, presentations, spreadsheets, or other files you choose to submit. These materials are stored in private server-side storage and are made available only through authenticated administrative tools and the private request portal. Private portal access is time-limited and can be revoked or regenerated by Grade Helper.

Payments and Subscriptions

Card payments and Nursing Workspace subscriptions are processed through payment providers such as Stripe. Grade Helper stores the transaction, subscription, and payment-status identifiers needed to provide access and maintain the request ledger; payment-card credentials are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Grade Helper. Other configured payment methods may include PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer.

Service Providers

Grade Helper may use service providers for hosting and private storage, AI processing, email delivery, payment processing, and other infrastructure required to operate the service. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices and only receive information needed for the relevant service.

Security

Grade Helper uses HTTPS, signed server-side sessions, Secure and HttpOnly cookies where appropriate, one-time account links, Admin multi-factor authentication in production, origin checks, rate limits, browser security headers, private file storage, payment-provider signature validation, file-type and file-signature checks, and security-event monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and Deletion

Grade Helper keeps information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain account and payment records, preserve project continuity, meet security needs, and resolve disputes. Temporary Nursing Workspace attachments normally expire after 7 days. Project-linked file retention is plan-aware: Quick Free up to 7 days, Standard up to 30 days, Deep Think up to 90 days, and Pro up to 395 days from upload; the Workspace displays each file’s current availability date. Account, payment, security, and support records may follow longer retention periods where reasonably necessary.

Signed-in users can download a structured copy of their Grade Helper account data or submit an account/data deletion request from Account → Privacy & access. You may also contact support@gradehelperai.com. Deletion requests are reviewed before action because some billing, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records may need to be retained.

Your Choices

You can choose what academic materials to upload, remove sensitive information before upload, avoid using optional contact fields, and stop using the service at any time. Account creation and Human Nursing Support submission require acknowledgement of the current Terms and Privacy Policy so Grade Helper can record the version accepted.

Children

Grade Helper is intended for users who are permitted to use the service under applicable law and their educational institution's policies. Users should not submit personal information about children or patients in academic materials.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
